Sometimes it feels like I live in a petting zoo....

As if 1 horse, 1 goose, more than 7 dogs, several cats, a couple very vocal roosters, a bunch of chickens, and quite a few goats weren't enough, I woke up this morning to find this noisy bunch in my neighbor's backyard:

Luckily they're only temporary guests and will be heading to other homes in the surrounding villages through an outreach program that the Kibondo branch of the TCRS CEP program runs. They were a surprisingly cute bunch though :)

Now, that's one novel alarm clock!
What a chorus that must have been.
The lower tier of that rig must surely be coach fare!

They are SO cute! I want one!

How does the organization determine their distribution? I imagine they could be very valuable to families and farms. The delivery would be something to see, wouldn't it?

Good luck getting any sleep while they are "camping" at your place!

Great photo! What I really loved in Uganda was a truck for of long horn cattle, then a row of bananas on big stalks, then a bunch of people on top.

Africa is amazing!
