Juanita!
I’m not the only member of my family trotting the globe this summer - the Russell-Leone family has been accumulating some serious frequent flier miles as well.Not only has my cousin Joni been spending the summer south of the border, but my aunt and uncle recently returned from Guatemala with my newly-adopted cousin, Juanita! I wish I knew how to say this in Spanish (and not surprisingly, my Swahili's no help here), but welcome to the family Juanita!

After understandable airport "shock" and initial shyness, Juanita arrived at her new home and delighted in exploring every aspect of her new home, embracing every animal (including Leo, the massive Newfoundland)! She is very observant, curious, loved playing in water and playing house.
I will be excited to get pictures emailed from Carol, who by the way, just passed her driver's test this week! Another cause for celebration!
