Winter

I have the background of my Gmail set so that it synchs to the weather at home. Today it looks like this:

A little bit jarring to see when it’s sunny outside and getting hotter every day. Technically, it’s winter here, too, in Sudan – just not the kind of winter that I grew up with … and that suits me fine!
